It's funny how I post about some book I'm reading and nobody comments. But put a logo up and everybody becomes an art critic! Frankly, I am much more concerned about what the people of Christchurch actually believe about Jesus than how our logo looks. But since this is an important exercise, here are some more logo options. Many thanks to Randy Brandt for bearing with me and God's people as we go through this creative process.

I like the font a lot better with the new version. And I like the slight color contrast between the cross and the font.
As I look at it this time it seems a bit lopsided. It's much more heavy on the left side of the logo (specifically the top left). Maybe that doesn't matter but it might help to balance it out more.
But Jesus didn't have much to say about lopsided logo design did he.
Thanks for the feedback, Jason. I specifically wanted the logo to be a bit lopsided to the left because I wanted attention on the cross. But maybe that's a bad design approach--I'm not actually a designer!
I like the bottom of the two -- the font is good, colors are good, and everything goes together. Good job, Randy; Good job, Pastor.
Randy, it seems like so much of this goes to personal preference. So if you guys like it, and your community (Boulder) connects with it, then that's what really matters.
Great work.
