I really like those Chilean miners' t-shirts.

Those who know me well know that I don't think too highly of "Jesus Junk".

But I really like those Chilean miners' t-shirts. Might even try to get me one...

Have you seen the words on the back of their shirts?

Spanish: "Porque en su mano estan los profundidades de la tierra, Y las alturas de los montes son suyas."

English: "In his hand are the depths of the earth;
the heights of the mountains are his also."

These are the words of Psalm 95, verse 4.

And so, while people around the world wait for the last man to be hauled up out of that deep hole in the earth, the Obsessive Skier offers up this prayer:

Thank you, Father in Heaven, for the faith being proclaimed by so many of the Chilean miners being rescued today. Thank you for the enduring hope of their families and rescuers that helped them to persevere. And thank you for ruling providentially over all of our lives. We rejoice together with people around the world today as each man is released from the Fenix 1 capsule. We pray for each of the 33 miners and their families to recover fully and remember your purposes for their lives. At the same time, we realize that there are still so many suffering in this world. We pray that you would rescue them too. And in those moments to come when we're trapped in our own sufferings and you are our only hope of rescue, help us to keep trusting in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you cnn.com for the photos.

Absolutely.
Their humility and praises for God was such an inspiration for everyone.
It truly showed, with God , all things are possible.
God bless them all.
