My very cool 12-year-old daughter brought her guns to the first bouldering competition of the season today at The Spot Bouldering Gym in our beloved Boulder. Anna placed 5th among the girls of the Youth B division with a combined total of 16,900 points! WAY TO GO, ANNA!!!
Youth teams from across Colorado assembled at The Spot today to participate in USA Climbing's American Bouldering Series (ABS) of competitions. This was Anna's first competition as a member of USA Climbing and ABS, and her 5th place finish was awesome!
Congratulations to everyone on Anna's team, team sik byrd out of Movement Climbing + Fitness in Boulder, and thanks to Anna's great team of coaches at Movement: Chelsea, Andrew, Jimmy, Angie & Taylor.
