"Grapple" is the obsessive skier's word of the day.Grapple is round hail-like pellets of snow (soft not hard) usually falling from grey clouds when it feels like is might rain in the winter.
Grapple is not to be confused with "Grapples" (pronounced "grape-les"), the grape-flavored apples which you may find in your produce aisle at odd times.
