The international skiing federation (also known as "FIS-Ski") recently announced that the 2011 World Championships in Deer Valley, Utah will include a slopestyle competition.That sound you hear is the sound of all the new schoolers of the skiing world rejoicing.

Gracias, Guatemala!
Instead of skiing last week, the Obsessive Skier spent the week in Guatemala. What a wonderfully hospitable country! Gracias, Guatemala!
